COMPLIANCETMATE HELP

FATIGUE SCHEMES

Fatigue Systems are set up in the Fatigue Systems option of the Utilities menu.  Fatigue Systems are a set of Government Specified Rules which Companies, Drivers and Contractors are required to adhere to. ComplianceMate comes with a current set of Government Fatigue Systems rules as outlined in the Heavy Vehicle Driver Fatigue Reform Information Bulletin 14.

This includes Standard Hours, Basic Fatigue Management (NHVAS) and Advanced Fatigue Management (NHVAS). It is strongly recommended that you DO NOT edit any of the existing rules as they will no longer comply with Government regulations. At this point it would be a good idea to thoroughly read your ComplianceMate Licence Agreement (found in the Utilities Menu) in order to understand the limitations and Legal responsibilities of Norcom Information Technology Pty Ltd and the ComplianceMate system.

* you can choose to set up an Advanced Fatigue Management System that has been Government approved but it is highly recommended that you do this in consultation with Norcom Pty Ltd to ensure it is accurate and compliant.

The Fatigue Scheme Master file browse window displays all of the information entered into the Fatigue Scheme master entry screen. This information is Pre-set by Norcom and will be maintained by Norcom if any changes to fatigue rules occur. You have the ability to display, delete, find and print from this window.

You have two ways of accessing and updating records in this screen.

  • The display button will open the depots data entry screen at the record that was highlighted on selecting the display button, alternatively you can also display the record by ‘right mouse clicking’ on the record to bring up a popup menu. Then select display.

  • To find a record, select the find button and type in a combination you wish to search for. Select the search button. To view the results select view.

To open a fresh data screen, select the display button.

You have the ability to browse, goto, add, save, cancel, delete and exit. For more information on these options, refer to Operator Prompts on pages 5 to 8.

REMEMBER: It is strongly recommended that you DO NOT edit any of the existing rules as they will no longer comply with Government regulations.
